The Eleusinian Mysteries
The Eleusinian Mysteries were rituals held every year for the cult of Demeter (goddess of the harvest) and Persephone (goddess of spring), in ancient Greece.
The mysteries are shrouded in secrecy. Some scholars believe that the rituals involved psychedelic substances deriving from the hallucinogenic Ergot fungus, which grows on spoiled wheat.
This design is printed with fluorescent ink & glows under UV light.
